Simon Karmarkar, MBA/DM, is a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO of MásRefund Tax Filing, an AI-powered bilingual app designed to simplify tax processes for Spanish and English speakers. With over a decade in fintech, Karmarkar has focused on developing solutions for under-banked and non-English speaking communities. He founded MasRefund to provide essential financial services and has held leadership roles, including at H&R Block. A certified Gestalt Experiential Therapist and advocate for mental health, he co-authored works on diversity and inclusion. A former US Army soldier, Karmarkar is multilingual and supports veteran entrepreneurs through Bunker Labs. He resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
